I still have no idea what I am meant to be doing with my project however I am having so much fun drawing and painting!

My Tips for Living in Paris.
- 1. Metro and Bus tickets are the same, you can buy a "Carnet" 10 tickets for €12. If you get your student card from the university, you can get a discounted price.
- 2. The Metro lines are named by the stops at the end of the line. For example, Line 5 - Bobigny Pablo Picasso and Place D'Italie. Make sure you get on in the right direction!
- 3. Paris is shockingly expencive and the exchange rate is now awful. If you have a British bank account, get out a chunk of money at the beginning of the week and use the cash instead of card.
- 4. It is worth getting a french "pay as you go" phone. Bouygyues Telecome do cheap phones and deals.
- 5. The trick to not being hassled is to have a storming walk, ignore the comments and to seem confident and French. You eventually don't notice them, which makes you look less like a tourist!
- 6. If you get back late from college, around 9:30, the boulangeries begin to close so knock on the doors and they will often given you left over pastries and pizzas for really cheap. And there is nothing better than being absolutely starving and having a really tasty, cold, french pizza.
- 7. Vintage Shopping! Place D'Aligre near metro Faidherbe-Challigny is an amazingly cheap market on Saturdays and Sundays. It has all the rummaging you could ever want to do and more. It also has antiques and lots of wonderful food. There is a shop "Free Porn St*r" near Hotel De Ville, there are three of them in the area, and they have €1 bins inside; Amazing. There are also a few other vintage shops around that area but "The Hippy Happy Market" tends to be very expensive, about Beyond Retro in London prices. I'd go for the markets if I were you.
- 8. If you are a student from the European Union and aged 18-25, the majority of museums in Paris will be free entry with a passport or student card. A few of the galleries only give a discount and occasionally you have to be a tad forceful with the fact you are going to get in free. So do always try because its better that paying €10!
- 9. An absolute MUST in Paris, is to go to breakfast outside a Café, in the freezing cold, and have "Un boisson chaud, jus d'orange et des tartine." There is something particularly special about eating toasted baguette with jam in Paris and one of my favorite things to do.
- 10. Have the time of your life, because you will blink and it will be gone!
